Purchased a new monitor today since my tv died, didn't have a massive budget so went with an Acer K272HL (27" 1080p at 60hz) but it only has one HDMI port which is currently being used for my Xbox one (I know, sacrilege but blu ray drive), it does have a dual link dvi port as well so basically I'm curious whether a HDMI selector/switcher or using the dvi port for my pc would be the better option or if there would really be a difference. I have a MSI GTX 960 2gb
