Planning on building my computer soon. Would a 500gb SSD be enough for me? I mainly use some virtual machines, I game, render videos, and talk to friends.

Because I have a choice... 500gb SSD + GTX 1070 + Ryzen 1700
or
1tb SSD + GTX 1060 + Ryzen 1700

Buy a 500 and then you can always get another one later or even an HD. 1070 is worth the money

1700 is too much for both setups.

Just get 1070 with 500gb SSD. GTX 1060 is too weak for 1080p and max video settings.
