Roll back from 17.7.2 and it should behave. had the same issue and since i rolled it back, it wont do that anymore; Blizzard devs in the forums suggest doing this as well

nVidia GTX970 owner here.

Can confirm that OW does not like any kind of OC whatsoever on GPUs.

The game is also super finicky with CPU OC as well. But will still play on stable and very low OCs on CPU.
