OK so building question. If I was to build a greenhouse over the water does it automatically irrigate or do I still have to run pipes? Please no bashing I'm still pretty new to game and trying to learn the building aspects of it.

You'll still need pipes but over water will make it a quick and easy set up

You will need all the pipes and shouldn't need a lot of them thou I like building greenhouses

Just make sure to not build too close to the water or the plots won't irrigate at all.

Run the pipes right under the greenhouse. It will still irrigate and look much cleaner.

Taps work just like outlets for electricity. Range is just smaller
