I would bet on Replicator as it has a slot limit of 600

Replicator is the best bet because it has 600 item slots. Thorny Dragon is an easier tame than the Beaver but either one (once saddled), can function as a smithy.

The metal requirements alone rule out both beaver and thorny. Unless the beaver is green an says HULK SMASH.

Weight is not super relevant. The beaver doesn't need to walk to craft. As long as all the items fit in the inventory slot limit it should be fine.
