Just finished my new pc build. It’s my first build ever. I ran a speed test to check my internet and it was not running anywhere near the speed I am supposed to have. Any ideas?

If you are using a random speed test server then it will be slower than using your ISPs speed server. No matter how fast the speeds they promote, they are the in-network speeds. So on the comcast network for example you will get that kind of download. When multiple networks are routing across each other you have many other bandwidth variables to consider. And traffic matters too.

It’s supposed to be fiber internet from AT&T. And I haven’t had any problems with it. I’m usually the only one on the internet also.
