that there might be a minimum favourite character emerging, while a disdain of Tom Nook has unified Animal Crossing players for many years. Isabelle, ambiguous pedigree's puppy, has been a cheerleader for players because her introduction at Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She's the city hall secretary that aids players in all sorts of task, even taking it on herself to be moderator to any squabbles attracted to her attention between islanders.

In New Horizons, each day is kicked off by a statement from Isabelle and her perky ponytail, and if she does not have anything to document --i.e. an upcoming event, a birthday, or a special visitor--she'll go off on a bit of a tangent. And that tangent is all about herself. According to Western Twitter, New Horizons players are finding such rants to be unbelievably annoying and expect to find an end to it. When typing Isabelle's title into Twitter, or more accurately her Japanese title, Shizue, some of the top search results are"I despise Isabelle,""Isabelle incompetent," and"Don't desire Isabelle."

Some words for this a tiny pup. Her morning statements are beginning to irritate some old school fans who could do with chatter and seem to have left her. To be fair, it's hard to imagine that conversation in that office might be especially stimulating. Animal Crossing is basically a game built around polite chitchat, consumerism, and a few light design work, Isabelle's standing reports are a small part of that pleasure. They could come in handy more if she declared the arrival of merchants like Lief, Redd, and Sahara and're rarely beneficial; but would anybody rather have Tom Nook or even Timmy or even Tommy take around for the island morning greetings?
