It's been a year since I've reapplied thermal paste and my temps floated about 40C on idle and 65-70C on load and now since I reapplied my temps on idle are at 60C what should I do

you shouldnt have had to reapply in the first place after only a year. but sounds like your reapply didnt spread right. try it again

Clean with alcohol and reaply
