In need of advice: I started when Overwatch came out on PS4, got to 3100 SR then all of my friends switched to PC. I'm only level 27 on PC and I ain't gonna lie, I suck. I was a McCree/Zenny main on PS4 but the only characters I can get the hang of are Hanzo and Symmetra on PC. Any advice to have a wider range of characters/get better on PC? Also would love to play with some peeps regularly to improve.

Try and start from basics to get the hang of controls, use soldier then reaper then as you get better accuracy use mccree and zen again.

Just practice. Getting good with a mouse takes time
