Yeah, as long as you hit the rank then you'll get that bonus

Yes. It downgrades your comp icon from plat to gold (after games if you didn't make it back to plat sr) but you always get the comp points rewards of the highest tier you achieved that season. Technically you can be GM and get to bronze in a season and still get GM rewards.
