I was uninstalling a game yesterday and noticed after it was done that it freed up over 200GB of space which made no sense. For some reason, uninstalling the game deleted other files and folders that had nothing to do with the game along with it. I managed to recover most of it but I don't understand why it happened. Has this ever happened to anyone??

if you have alot of of save files and mods in it it is normal

What game? I remember uninstalling Star Citizen and it was the same way. It seemed the updates copied over themselves instead of overwriting.
