I was not ready to spend another $79 on the new Green & Pink Joy-cons (pretty awesome colors!) so I decided to buy a replacement shell here:

The result is on the photo! Super nice and very cheap compared to a new one. it was very easy to change the original shells, a kit was delivered with it.

I messed mine up when I this to replace the joycon shells tho so yeah... NEVER AGAIN. Happy that it turned out good for you though, it looks fantastic!

Yeah, replacing the shell on the left Joy-Con takes some time but I ruined my right Joy-Con. That extra sensor packed in it means everything is squeezed in a tight spot. It took me 3 tries and I still never got it fully working correctly.
