Doomfist is an intellectual. Terry crews might be the most intelligent man on the planet, but the portion of the OW community who wishes he still voiced the character probably have the idea of him screaming doomfist lines like the old spice commercials. That doesn't benefit the cold extremes doomfist takes his philosophy to. He's the leader of Talon, a group who works within the shadows. Old Spice Doomfist doesn't fit that. Nor does it fit doomfists philosophy.

Id love to see Terry Crews voice something in OW eventually. maybe they can have him voice the AI at the beginning of a map on a certain map they implement later. one that would really just play well on what the OW community will expect from him. But doomfist was not right. the baritone of the voice actor they have now (and the fact he is classically trained) is perfect for the character.
