from my experience working in a busy repair shop for years, gigabyte has the highest failure rate I've seen, msi is second..
Evga and Asus are the only boards I'll buy.

I've had a lot of motherboards from a lot of manufacturers over the last 20 years. I don't buy junk only the big names Asus gigabyte MSI Etc. Only motherboard that has blown up on me and that time frame from normal usage meaning me not being stupid was a gigabyte. Apparently they have some quality issues with their capacitors I don't know it was a couple years old ga z77x ud5h

GIGABYTE is great. I built a Hackintosh so that was one of the few brands that we're capable of supporting OS X. I've had no problems & I would recommend it.
