Go for intel mate,, rysen has very good single core performance but for those games you mention, some are really cpu dependant

If your gaming and or beginning content creation, go Intel, best bang for dollar performance hands down. You'll benefit from higher clock cores than more cores.

That being said if your editing videos, multitasking etc quite frequently, Ryzen would be the way to go. But I'd still go for the 8700k cause they'll overclock to 5.0 GHz quite easily and stable.

Arma runs MUCH better on most Intel chips compared to AMD due to the high thread-per-core requisites within the build.
