I’m a part of many gaming groups on Facebook, and it is truly shocking to see so many people from different walks of life post about struggles they are having and crippling depression. Many open up their hearts and reach out for help, not knowing if they’ll receive it. I’m happy to say I’ve never seen anything but positivity and support in all of these situations. I always reply, always send a message and friend request: you’re not alone and you never will be.
If you are ever close to edge, never hesitate to reach out. I’m here, I’m listening and I know your family and friends would do the same. Nothing is worth ending your life for. It’s the only one we’ve got, so make the best of it and do what you love. Never let anything stand in the way of your happiness, especially not yourself.
