Hi guys.
After building a couple of PC's for my boys I thought I need a replacement for the crappy overheating gaming laptop I have. I so regret buying a laptop for gaming!
I am thinking about this build:
Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-G GAMING mATX
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX-GTX1080-8G-GAMING
Case: Thermaltake Core V21
CPU: i7 8700 3,2 GHz
CPU Cooling: Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGH 280
PSU: Corsair RM650x
RAM: G.Skill 16 GB TZR 3200 MHz
Case Cooling: Thermaltake Riing 14 LED RGB
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO 500 GB
Should i opt for the MSI Z370 Pro Carbon AC mATX with the MSI 1080? Is the closed loop water cooling worth the extra cash and should I go for the Corsair modules instead? I also wonder if I should spend the extra 100 bucks on the 8700K CPU instead.
I realize that the case cooling fan isn't optimal as it is a high pressure instead of airflow version, but I think it would look cooler with the same fans. I am looking to get the 'gay bar' look in my pc
Any suggestions, critique or general input is welcome.
