Hey guys, its come the time to replace the 'trusty' fx 8350 am3+. Unless there is a 9th gen around the corner im thinking i5 8600k,but with what motherboard? £150 budget but must be black/white.

I'd go for a i3 8350k to save a bit of money, you can always upgrade in a couple to 9th gen or 10th gen if they keep the same socket. Plus at 4.0 GHz and overclockable, with a good cooler you'll get 4.4-4.5 out of her easy maybe more. 4 cores is all you need for gaming for the next couple years anyways. Go i5 tho if your a streamer or do a bunch of productivity tho. I recommend i3 strictly for a gaming set up.
