Hey guys, I just got a x62 kraken today and installed it in my pc, but ever since I took off the old air cooler for some reason it dosent want to boot, and I keep getting a q code from my mobo saying 53. Also, my ram would light up previously and it won't now, any ideas?

Try to reseat ram sticks if it didnt work use them one at a time

You shorted the Mobo to the case try resetting CMOS, consult your motherboard manual and short the two pins with a screwdriver

Try using eraser to rub on the metal of the ram . made mine work ( friend's old ram lul )
