Hello everyone,

Could anyone tell me why my RAM memory frequency is 3200 MHz but it shows up in the BIOS DIMM slots as 2400 MHz? :O

mine is 3200 but shows up as like 1059

Under your oc settings look for ram frequency and set it for 3200mhz, if it doesn't want to load you will habe to play with timings. Make sure there set for.the rated timings on your ram

Make sure your bios is up to date also b4 changing anything

i dont even know if its up to date i installed a new mobo when i did the ram too

No, it's normal. I bought 3000mhz ram and the base speed is lower. That's the marketing trick. They sell you 2133/2400mhz ram and it's possible to oc it to 3400, but the base is 2400.

It always loads a safe configuration of a lower speed. 3200mhz is considered a overclock
