Has anyone set up a software raid 0 on a asus x299 mobo? I have a rampage 6 extreme and want to setup my two NVMe m.2 ssd's that are mounted on the m.2 riser card in the m.2 slot next to the ram dimms as a bootable drive. I'm going in circles in the asus bio's trying to figure it out. I downloaded Intel's rst driver for it so when i install Windows it will recognize the 2 drives as 1 bootable drive that i can install Windows on. Any links to step by step method would be helpful. Could not find anything on youtube for asus bios version 1004.

As far as I'm aware, only Intel branded NVMe drives can be made into bootable RAID, and even then, only RAID 0 without a RAID key from Intel...
