Got a predator x34 and I'm having mixed feelings about it. Going from 144hz to 60hz-100hz is hard to get passed

I do not understand this logic at all I'm sorry I just don't. I have a 34 ultra wide LG monitor 60hz 1ms response time. It's perfect I have no idea how I'd be getting anything out of more Hz. The pixels 1ms response time on top of 60fps roughly 60hz, why the he'll would you need anything faster than 60fps
