get to +270 and create a new toon, store your guns and gear for the same class, repeat story and then do all you have done now. that will give you around 300 power level. you could wait untill 280 power before doing so, but it is the casual way of doing it, if you dont have time for raids. after creating the new toon, you delete the old toon.

Farm some zone tokens and turn them in until a better helmet and boots drop. Also, what are those arms? I haven't seen exotic Hunter arms in the game yet...
