Does anyone know if the Nvidia Shield is worth the money or not? Now that I've got this great pc I'd like to play some games on my 4K tv but it's in a different room.

Would it be worth it to get the Nvidia Shield?

I use the steam link, works great for games that are able to use a controller on

Yeah I tried that last night but it won't go above 1080p I assume because the monitor attached to my pc is 1080p.

Is there a way to get the resolution on my 4k tv to be 4k rather than just 1080p short of buying a new pc monitor?
