She's a support tank. Great if you already have a Reinhardt or Orisa. On her own though her survivability is low. I'd honestly say she belongs in the support class tbh.

Neither. She's still popular in high level play and as a carry tank. Her efficacy is well known at this point after people get out of Bronze.

As a Mercy main I do love a good Zarya that will bubble me for a rez and in general dangerous situations, and she does good at getting many pests off me.

She's a great counter to idiots who don't know how to keep their fingers off the trigger. Especially when you know for a fact, that you haven't laid a finger on her shields all game, yet, for some reason, every time she kills you, she's at 90+ energy, and there isn't a Junkrat present on your team.

I don't really think she's overrated or underrated tbh bc she's the sort of tank that can be very useful but only if people know how to play her bc otherwise she's very squishy for a tank. She's the sort of hero you need to put the hours in to perfect her so she's not really underrated bc she's not just the sort of hero you can pick up and go with. You need to practice a lot with her and a lot of people can't be bothered
