Do you guys think a 7600k would bottleneck a 1080ti?
P Pavel Vopálka Guest Dec 30, 2017 #4 I've seen a lot of tests where only 8700k was able to fully utilise 1080Ti to 99% usage. I upgraded my 4790k to 8700k and my GPU has much higher usage now with the same settings..

S Steve Richmond Guest Dec 31, 2017 #6 Personally I suggest you step up to a higher CPU for that GPU. While there is to much to consider in calculation of Bottleneck, here's a screenshot from one of the leading online calculaters.

D Dave Wood Guest Dec 31, 2017 #9 At 1080p you’d get higher frames with something like an 8700k, but at 1440p/4K there wouldn’t be a problem

B Brayden Ryler Antunovich Guest Dec 31, 2017 #13 8700K is the best for 1080p, 1440p idk, 4k doesn't make a difference
M Michel-Éric Giroux Guest Dec 31, 2017 #15 I think the only time you'd even be able to bottleneck that CPU is if you do SLI or play a game with tons of AI. No title comes to mind tho.

C Chris Sheldon Guest Dec 31, 2017 #18 Thanks guys. I was a little worried. I figured it wouldn't but, but had to ask anyway.
