Currently in the process of upgrading my PC. I've ordered the MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard, will the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8gb) ddr4 ram 3000MHZ C16 (CMK16GX4M2C3000C16) be compatible with this board? also upgrading to a Ryzen 5 1600 soon too

PCpartpicker says yes.

Check with the msi board. You can use it but may not overclock to 3000mhz. It will run stock instead.

All ram is compatible, it's just hard to hit the rated speeds with some ram.
