Mighty Gunvolt Burst is the best Mega Man game that does not actually have Mega Man, that I have played. Has Beck and Gunvolt and a free DLC character Ekoro and is $9.99. If top down adventure is more your thing, Kamiko is $4.99 and has a great soundtrack, colorful pixel visuals, and good boss fights.
