Anybody know if acers warranty allow returns if a bug gets behind the screen?

I'm not with the machine currently and don't trust the missus to take the monitor off the stand to check it.

It just walked across the screen while she was doing some office work. They won't even talk to me without the serial no. So I doubt they are going to be very open with a claim.

i dont think that they will open the screen and get the bug out for free at least...if it s working then its up to u....i think that if u open the screen by yoru self u probably lose the warranty....

Well it's still under 12 months and i didn't pay £1000 for a monitor so poorly built something can get between the panels.

Just ask and tell what happened .. Acer will surely fix this
