Any Linux users know why this keeps coming up? I did a fresh install of Ubuntu on my Chromebox and I'm constantly getting this error.

If it's a fresh partition and you have root access then is it possible you screwed up the creation of the partition? Or maybe some policy's collide and mess with eachother?

Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get upgrade

What happens?

The ubuntu software center is extremely buggy and stuff like this happens a lot.

I reccomend installing with apt at all costs. Path of least resistance.
