Couple thoughts on it. The skin makes it more snug in the base but hasn't made any scuffs yet. The Joy Cons themselves are a little bit tighter in the Joy Con Grip as well due to a rubber piece on the inside that I think could be removed without much issue. Feel wise there is a slight rough edge on the triggers and buttons now but not something I noticed or bothered me during a few matches of Splatoon yesterday and I REALLY push the buttons hard so there is that . I mostly play with the Pro Controller anyway.
