Just freesync. Gsync is for Nvidia. You would still get 144hz.

I have an mg278q. I'm on a 1080. You don't need AMD to get 144hz. You just don't get the freesync variable rate.

Its Freesync and I think its only 1080

I have it, it's a bit of a process to get 144. But it does & it works well
