So yesterday I was able to get this little one to come up w a mutation. I then bred her and she gave a son w th same mutation. I tried breeding the son but the mutation didn't carry over. I got the mother killed when my dumb dumb ass stopped to grab a dung beetle on a Chitin run so, is the mutation gone now that the original Dino is dead? Or will the son pass it along eventually?

Son should pass along but is a 50/50 as the new mother hasn't got it

Mutations are still random so you never know what can drop you may get the same mutation or you may get a new mutation
