So today I noticed that Earth Wars was on the EShop. If you weren't aware it is a hand-drawn metroidvania loot-fest that was originally brought outside of Japan by Rising Star. The Rising Star version is $30.00. Nintendo Switch users are getting it for $4.50. There are so many reasons to love this little console, but the biggest reason in my book is it is a middle ground between mobile and home console where amazing games can be respected for being amazing games, but keep that mobile game price.

I dunno about all that.

$30 for Sine Mora, a game that, when it was new on Vita, was only half that price.

And there are a few mobile ports that are way more expensive than their mobile versions. VOEZ immediately comes to mind.

I’m pretty sure Rime is priced differently for physical and digital.

But their physical comes with a download of the soundtrack, so maybe that’s how they get away with that.
