So my brother has the asus g20 and his graphics card isn't working in it.the inboard one does.when I start it up the grapics card fans go on but when I plug in the HDMI it says no signal.any idea what this could be

Bad driver, needs reseated, loose cable, blown caps, bad gpu, blown psu. In that order

Make sure you've got the right settings for gfx in your bios.
