If it had extra software, possibly. If it’s just an extension or ‘plug and play,’ you should be fine. I didn’t even know of this issue until after it started appearing here en masse and I use nothing but an extension of the dock’s USB-C so I don’t have to fry or scratch it and and can use the handheld case permanently.

So far 99.9% of what I have heard is related to the Nyko dock, which was known to brick Switches since long before the update.
