So, I have a couple destiny heads and read the lore and talk about what they think will come in the coming months and one of the guys was like " you know, because of Osiris communicating with the darkness (why he was banished) we might see dark versions of our powers. Now of course this is complete speculation, could you imagine how cool that would be? Dark stormtrance, golden gun, and sentient shield? One thing I have noticed is that we might be able to change the frame on your guns. Some of them have space for it.

I'm a huge fan of the lore and I've been wondering the same thing. Before the game released, I was hoping that we'd see a Ahamkara or even meet some of the Guaridans who are part of the group "Shadows of Yor" and get our hands on some weapons of sorrow so I was kind of dissapointed but hey there are still two expansions and we may just get some of this in the Osiris DLC.
