So the drawn picture is my CPU. The Orange is thermal paste. Some thermal paste oozed onto the side of the cpu. Not the base o the chip just the side. Think it won't be. A problem?

Unlikely to cause problems if it isn't shorting two contacts. Use some isopropyl alcohol and a lint free, anti static cloth to clean the affected area if possible.

if you use a non-conductive paste, you shouldn't have to worry, just make sure to clean what you can, and don't put too much cream on it next time

You can soak the entire motherboard in normal silicon based thermal paste without it being damaged.

Thanks. Looked at Cryorigs FAQs, for ther CP paste. All their paste is electrically non-conductive.

Cryorigs are awesome coolers. A tad loud, but I bought a massive cooler knowing it would be a lil loud, but any type of gaming and you won't notice
