Since win/loss doesn't matter in placements and everything is based on peformance, why don't we just chill out and give each other perfect stats?

I mean no fighting, tanks standing still, absorbing tons of damage, dpses doing tons of damage while having 100% accuracy, healers doing tons of healing, then after 10 mins one of the sides just capture the objective. Everyone wins

In close matches, the wins and losses decide the SR. I suppose it's the same for placements. Plus, with close matches, SR gains are very low so with such placement matches, you'd end up where you were before. And if it's an unranked account, it'll just put you at the average tier which is 23-2500sr

They matter to a certain extent. You will gain more if you win more games in my experience but not by a lot.
