Learn to catch a T Rex before going after a Giga. Depending on their level, dinos can take dozens if not over hundred tranq arrows to knock out. If he wasn’t going down it means that Rex was a higher level than you’ve seen with other dinos. If you’re having trouble bringing a Rex down, a Giga is gonna be a whole other thing for you.

Just an FYI, you can't tame Alphas. I once trapped an Alpha Raptor and hit it w trank after trank until it just died. Just a heads up
