Planning to upgrade my current rig
Any thoughts? Mainly used for Triple A games

My rig:
AMD A6-5400K
ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 mobo
6gb DDR3 RAM
Zotac GTX 1050 Ti

My dream rig:
AMD Ryzen 3 1200
Gigabyte B250 mobo
8gb DDR4 RAM
Same gpu

I think thats a good solid upgrade. But I would try and get one of the better AM4 motherboards so you then can upgrade the CPU again later on and also have a really solid base.

Have a look at the MSI B350 PC Mate or the Asus Strix B350-F motherboards.

If you go ahead sell the CPU, MB and RAM as a combo too.

B250 is LGA 1151 that's not an AMD socket. You should be looking for B350(budget) or X370(high end).
