Not sure if allowed but it's tech related and I'd like to know what's up with my tablet. Nexus 7 gen 2, brand new screen and it does this.

Greasy/wet finger/screen? Just clean it with your shirt or restart it. Should do the trick I guess.

Clean hands, and very clean screen, it's been like this for a few months just got around to posting about it. I got the tablet because the original screen was shattered

Is there a screen protector on it? Does it do the same with other fingers? Have you updated it?

I can use a USB adapter and mouse, and a Bluetooth keyboard and it works fine

Clearly a problem with the screen, they gave you a broken product.

I did the install, (not my first one), I contacted the company and they wanted me to take the screen out and send it back to them without braking the screen, but taking out the old one proved that it's gonna shatter

Reconnect the digitizer pins if it doesn't work get a new digitizer

Reconnecting then didn't work, in order to get a new digitizer I need a new screen as they are glued together

What the digitiser attached to the LCD? Or separate units? Previous experience, if there is anything between them like dust it can cause ghosting.

Yes the digitizer is attached to the LCD. I've done screen replacements before and they came out great. It's a new screen so I don't think there is any dust between them as it is sealed
