The actual numbers for damage and healing aren't special. She kinda has the D.Va or Winston effect where she just has an easy time putting her name on a lot of kills by contributing some damage to it.

5 gold happen often. That doesn't mean you're a good moira. I outheal mercy main often. I kill more than my dps, who are actually good.
I'am a support, I make sure back line is safe, I make sure that gengu die diving my mercy, I have these gold because I'am supporting my team, not because I carry. Most of my kill are final blow my dps have engaged.
I'am a group heal, teaming with a lucio is stupid. It's not because I'am all gold I'am the carry or the team should work around me. I will switch and loose them if ana is the support needed dor me to get that win
