Looking for a bit of technical help, I seem to be losing a lot of frames while playing in big team fights, it use to always run smooth until I upgraded to a 1080 graphics card. Anyone could give me an idea on what could be causing it while playing overwatch?

Sounds to me like the higher visuals seem to be a bit too much for your system as a whole.

are you running uncapped? dont.

set it at a high frame rate that will never drop say 100 or 144 or whatever it is depending on whatever yr system can handle in the busiest of team fights (test in vs ai match where everything is gping off and nobody dies)

if yr frame rate is yo-yoing (even if it is 200 to 160 to 140 to 200 again) it does mess with yr microtiming of yr aim.

Could also be a heat problem. Do you run msi afterburner or something?
