I've been breeding thylos for a while to get color mutations, I managed to get a patrilineal mutation on a female (named F7 0 1 in the picture) sadly its not a color mutation. So I've breed the mutated female with a non-mutated male, and I got a male with a matrilineal mutation. I thought the mutation would stay on the patrilineal side, how does this work?

In that generation it was the mother who passed the mutation, if you breed the male baby it will say it's on father side again unless you breed him back to mom, then it will show on both sides

Is this normal color for a thylo? It does have mutations.
