You have a chance to get a mutations from mom and pop, 1 each, per baby, that's it... if that's what you mean

No like ppl will breed for a higher health rate depending on what tame has a higher health out of multiple of the same species.
Like say your Petra has 3000 health and you want to pass the genes on to a baby and they land somewhere near 3000 health and train from there.
I haven't heard much about it. But I'm curious
