The cpu isn't running hot the vrm section is and it is due to the poor mosfet cooling. This has been an issue with x99/990FX/x370 etc.

Hell the only reason you don't see this with ryzen is the chips clock like complete dog shit. The heat sink is no different and the vrm is weaker on their boards.
