I'm looking to buy a new motherboard for my PC that I can run two graphics cards any suggestions without being to pricey I currently have a P35 gigabyte in it specs as follows
Gigabyte motherboard (P35)
Q9550 quad processor @ 3.0GHZ
Zalman copper cpu cooler
8GB DDR2
Nvidia GTX 1050Ti
1TB Seagate HD (black) 32mb cache
750W power supply
Antec nine hundred case

I have my eyes on a Asus z170-a but I don't know anything about it or if I can run it with all my gear

With the new motherboard you would need new CPU, cooler, and ram

Yeah you don't want to run 2 cards. Not all games support sli or crossfire. So you got to turn it on and offf. Then on top of that you got to close like 3 programs to do so. It's annoying so I don't even bother with it anymore.

What 2 cards are you gojng to run? 1050ti's dont sli...

One 1080 performes much much better, even if sli would have sorta worked

SLI or Crossfire always never worth it because the 2nd graphic card didnt use the power fully like a normal single card.. just upgrade to a single 1080ti is better
