I'm lookin' into building drag cars so can someone explain to me why it's better to have RWD over AWD?

Its not... "car enthusiasts" on this group will roast you for swapping any rwd car to awd on this game because its "unrealistic and for noobs". Its way faster at drags, but people claim its too easy to tune an awd car, and that tuning rwd takes skill.
