If this isn't allowed please delete master admins :D

I have a huge issue racking my brain and I'm looking for some opinions. This is to obtain a consistent 120+ FPS on destiny 2 and other games without sacrificing 100+ FPS on AAA games at Ultra/Very High detail at 1080p gaming.

So far I've been looking up statistics and videos on these gpu's, 1070 TI, 1080, and 1080 TI and im looking for people who have these cards. I'm sticking to 1080p gaming to maximize fps in any game, and in esports titles lowering settings to maximize performance is not a problem.

So rambling aside, which card do you believe is the best for what i've said above.

EDIT: By best, I mean best value to achieve said results.
EDIT 2: Thanks for all the great feedback people. Helped a lot.

I use the 1080 to strix on 3440 by 1440. It can handle 100fps on ultra so if you are doing 1080p I think it might be more than you need.

1070 for 1080p, you'll get high frame rates at ultra settings no problem.

I have a 1070ti and i average 110-120 fps in 1080p on high settings but dip down to 60-70fps in some public events. I'm sure my old FX cpu is holding it back some too.

Get a SLI setup of 2 1080s, and you'll be as right as rain.

^ nah.
For 1080p 1x1080 is more than enough.

dont go sli as not every game supports it. Id recommend the 1080 TI if you have the extra cash. I have the 1080 and yes it performs great 120-200 fps at 1440p with a mix of all high and Very High textures.

I personally run a 1080ti now, but I ran 1080 before that and for most games the 1080 will blast through almost all games at 1080p, I would say 1070ti is a minimum for this, but if you find a deal then go for the 1080, especially for aaa titles to get 100+ fps. Also when you think about keeping it at 144 or more for esport titles you need a decent cpu, 7700k is king when it comes to single thread performance. Good luck shopping

Everything maxed i hang around 180 fps with a 1070 ti, but it has more to do with my ram than my gpu. Nothing is overclocked atm and i stream at 1080/60fps while I play
